This illustration was saved from a damaged children's book called Ring-A-Round-A-Rosy, published in 1885. The page is a heavy card stock, and has become brittle with age, but the image area is undamaged. There are staple holes along the binding edge as well as a crease along the edge. There is a 3 inch closed tear at the bottom edge in the margin. One side of the page is a beautiful full color lithograph, and the back side is a lovely sepia toned illustration with a stanza of verse. The page is lightly toned from age and there are a few faint smudges on the sepia side. This is the title page from the book. The page measures 8 x 10 with an image area of 6.5 x 8.5 inches.
